here we go!

As I walked down the narrow street in Manila a group of boys playing basketball saw me and started yelling, "Americano! Americano!"
Not having anything against my neighbors to the south it was nothing much more than a humorous charade... but of course it irked me, just a bit.

"Not Americano! I shouted back, "Canadiano!"

Sometimes the things you say when you don't know what to say are really the best.

I'd just like to let you know that I'm rushing to write this, because in ten minutes I will be leaving. That is true, and I'll tell you this: it just hit me.

I'm actually leaving. Excited? Yes. Scared? mixed in with excitement. starting to realize that i'll miss home? Absolutely. Regretful of the fact? No.
